Brilliant service. I broke down in London on Wednesday, it took 9 hours to get from there back to Kent because of a separate, unrelated incident. I wasted a lot of time, I lost a days work and was worried my car would be out of action for days… and having limited mobility, I need my car! Got home around 10pm that evening, I needed a mechanic quickly so I looked up Click Mechanic, booked the repair and the booking and time slot were approved within a couple of hours. Zlatin from Ted’s Garage collected my car on time the following day. He was very approachable and friendly. He said my car would be repaired and returned by the end of the next day. The work was completed and the car was returned the following day as he had said. £140 for the repair and labour which was very reasonable. Very happy with the work and the timescale. I would have been waiting for days if I had taken the car to a garage myself. My Car was looked after and returned in the same condition so no issues there. I will definitely use Ted’s garage again.

The car was collected on time, no phone call was received to explain the cost of the tow, which i was informed about after the work was carried out. I received a quote for £638 from click mechanic as the total price, but the garage charged me an extra £30.12, which i could not contest as it was already deducted from my account without first discussion with me.

Sorin was excellent despite a small mix-up at the start initiated by the dealership he was visiting not answering his calls. Once that was cleared up and after a short chat together just to make certain that the report would be ready before 3pm when I was due to see the vehicle, great! It all went smoothly. Fantastic also that Sorin was able to accept this particular job given the short (just less than three hours) notice. My thanks to Sorin and also such a nice opportunity for him to meet up with an old friend whom it transpired just so happened to be my particular contact at the dealership in question. Matthew was great, very punctual and got on with the job quickly. So pleased to have the issues resolved and much easier to have the works carried out at home without needing to take the car to a garage.

They were prompt and friendly and the price was good, but have refused to confirm what part (thermostat) was actually used. There's obviously a temptation to source cheap parts when price is such an important consideration and the fact that they have simply ignored all my requests for a proper receipt, to give me the reassurance that a quality part has been used, suggests that I would not be happy if I knew. Could it be a used part? The 12 month guarantee is all very well, but if a cheap part lasts only a little longer than that it will be a very expensive mistake.
