The lack of communication let the side down.A phone call to let me know it would be 4.5 hrs before car was returned as i needed to get to my my next call.Also my car smelt of smoke and for a non smoker thats not good it has been to the car was and smells better.

Not knowing anything mechanically about cars and looking at buying my son his first car, I was advised to have a car we had seen professionally inspected. Having contacted both the AA and RAC who provide this service, both were unable to meet the dates I needed and the prices seemed high. I saw Click Mechanic advertised and after making contact I was given an appointment within two days at a saving of £130 over the other quotes. Mat carried out the inspection and was totally professional and clear with his service. An initial phone call to talk me through his findings followed by a detailed report email shortly after. I had initially diagnosed the issue with my car myself, but on arrival he took the time to outline other possible causes of the symptoms, ensuring we were fully aligned before proceeding. He replaced my clutch efficiently and within a very reasonable timeframe, and also provided helpful advice on what to look out for moving forward. In addition, he highlighted a few other areas—such as the exhaust and driveshaft bearings—that may need attention in the future. It was a pleasure speaking with him, and I’m extremely grateful for the high standard of work he delivered.
