The guys at Burton motors were great. I got my M.O.T done on holiday expecting it would pass and being told the work would get done the next day. Unfortunately my car failed and they then said it was 2 weeks for the work. This was no good to me as I wasn't able to come back and my M.O.T ran out 5 days later. I put an add out after getting ridiculously quoted by other garages and Burton motor stepped in and got my in today at a affordable price. Took the car down this morning and the work was done in the agreed time. I went for a walk into Burton while the work was done. They got it through the M.o.t and there customer service was excellent. Went through the advisories and ill book with them soon to get them done. Very happy and 100% recommend anyone to use this garage.

Will, was very efficient getting in touch as soon as he had completed his report to talk me through it, answering any questions as we went. I was able to use the report to go back to the garage selling the car and request some fixes before proceeding. I feel it was worth the investment to get the pre-purchase inspection done.

I hired Saf for a diagnostic inspection regarding my cooling system. Unfortunately, the service was highly unsatisfactory. Saf misdiagnosed the issue as a faulty cooling fan, which led me to pay for an expensive, unnecessary part replacement. A subsequent independent inspection by a qualified professional revealed that the root cause was merely a blown fuse—a basic fault that a competent diagnostic should have identified immediately. When I raised this issue, Saf refused to take responsibility, attempting to blame the fuse failure on events occurring after his visit rather than admitting to the flawed initial diagnosis. I am now left with significant unnecessary repair costs due to this lack of professional care and skill. I would strongly advise against booking this mechanic if you expect an accurate and reliable diagnostic.

They did a great job and also noticed that a spring was missing on the brake shoe and replaced this for free when doing the brake pads / discs. Highly recommend
