I had one of the worst experiences of my life with Steve’s Mechanical Solutions. I agreed a clear price for repairs, only to be hit with a much higher bill at the end that I had never approved. When I questioned the extra charges, the way I was spoken to was shocking. In my experience, the mechanic became aggressive, used foul language toward me, and made comments that were threatening and completely unprofessional. I was called offensive names over the phone, which I had a witness for, and I was left feeling intimidated and unsafe. Even after ClickMechanic confirmed I had paid in full, my car still wasn’t released to me. I was told I would need to pay extra cash that had never been mentioned before. To me, it felt like new charges kept appearing, and the communication became more hostile the more I tried to get my car back. I was even worried that my vehicle would be dismantled or damaged, as threats like this were made during the dispute. Because I was unable to collect my car for days, I couldn’t get to work and ended up losing my job. The stress, the lack of cooperation, and the way I was treated throughout this whole situation has genuinely affected my mental health. This experience has been incredibly upsetting, and based on what I went through, I would strongly advise others to be extremely cautious. Make sure everything is written down, because my experience with this garage was aggressive, unpredictable, and deeply unprofessional.

Im very happy with the Pre purchase inspection report Cristian did for me. Just the communication wasn’t the greatest as I tried to call and text but only received a reply after the service was completed. Besides that no complaints here good service.

Picked the car up and too it away, called to say that there was a problem getting the part and confirmed that this would be a certain price which I approved. All rhe work was done including oil and air filter service which I added additionally. The only downside is the price estimate from click mechanic website was way off and the job cost a lot more than expected. This wasnt the mechanics fault, more fault from the website for sharing a price which was a long way off the actual price invoiced and charged which was unexpected. As I say however I cant fault the garage, they did the job and everything was done as expected!
