Review of Car Inspection Service I recently had a pre-purchase inspection carried out on a Vauxhall Astra 1.3 CDTi by Simon, and I couldn’t be happier with the service. Simon was extremely thorough, carefully going through every detail of the car and explaining his findings in a clear and professional manner. His expertise and attention to detail gave me a complete understanding of the car’s condition, highlighting any potential issues as well as the positives. Jose was terrific! He communication was great. He was prompt and reliable. A few days after the (front!) brakes were changed, my engineer reported that his brakes had failed and said the van was leaking brake fluid....what he didn't tell me was the issue was at the BACK of the vehicle - so nothing Jose had touched. I called Jose to tell him what had happened, and he was with the van in less than two hours sorting out the issue (bearing in mind the vehicle, at this time was out of his areas covered). Although the issue was not caused by the FRONT brakes being changed, Jose was quick to react and rectify the problem which we thought related to the front brakes. I can honestly say, that this guys is one honest and reliable mechanic - which is pretty hard to find in my line of work. Thanks Jose - stay amazing! :-)

I'll be honest the system was messed up I don't even think it was the engineer as once arrives he was good, the booking system showed 11 o'clock appointment no messages or email to say we're late and then after 12:30 and sending a message via the website I finally got told they guys was 45 mins away Anyway rebooked for Saturday the guy turned up and just read the car and gave me this information aid he would come back to me later in the day with the quote Now Tuesday still no word but have booked in with my local mechanic as at least he will show.up.in time and follow through, just a shame it I wasted £90 for five min appointment Whole system was disappointing to be honest.

Andrew was on time and very efficient, his knowledge helped me a great deal and he did a health check on my vehicle very thorough, very happy and will use again

He was knowledgable, friendly, and honest. I was able to ask him a few questions about the service he was carrying out and he helped me understand what the problem was and what he was doing to fix it. Definitely a 5 stars as I'm happy with the job done in my car!

Valentin was on time and immediately got on with the job of replacing the brake discs and pads on my Q3, very knowledgeable, friendly, no fuss. Highly recommended

Alistair was very professional. He arrived and collected the vehicle as scheduled and kept me informed of the issues encountered. Although the work requested wasn't conducted, he was honest and straightforward when informing me that it was pointless conducting the original Job as the defects on the vehicle were greater than anticipated and substantial and expensive work was necessary to restore to engine. Not the outcome expected but I cannot fault Alistair and I thank him for his professionalism and honesty.

I had to have a gaiter fitted and windscreen washer checked £161 quoted. Car should have been picked on Tuesday this was cancelled and was going to picked up on Wed (i agreed to this to help them out) They cancelled Wed and said they would Thurs,which they did. They phoned Friday morning to say I needed a new pump and said it would cost £124 as they coundn't get from Europart this was a genuine part from SKODA. I needed the car for a trip on Saturday morning,and was told it would be delivered back Friday night. It was cancelled and delivered back on Saturday morning. They phoned on Friday to say they were charging £348 ! How did he arrive at that amount! I am old now so as sharp as I used to be but said I had Ilready paid for labour onwindscreen water pump. He then said ok I will make it £296 I had to agree and he took that amount. I was not happy and spoke to my daughter who works in a fraud department.She was concerned and checked the price of these pumps,the most expensive was £94 for a genuine SKODA PART. She wants to get a mechanic to check the work done and to ensure that the new Skoda part was fitted (they have ID on part) So that it what we will do.Also the 10% discount was not taken off from the new price. If all the work as been done there is nothing else I can do,but if the part, windscreen water pump has not been fitted then we will take this further.

From booking the Pre-Purchase Inspection through to receiving the report and telephone call from the mechanic who inspected the vehicle, I found the whole the process very straight forward. The Pre-Purchase Inspection confirmed my initial positive findings re the condition of the vehicle, but the mechanic Hanzl diagnosed a potentially expensive fault with the engine. I did not purchase the vehicle following receipt of the report. I have no doubt that the cost of the inspection saved me a considerable sum of money in not purchasing the vehicle. I highly recommend Hanzla to conduct Pre-Purchase Inspections. Ray F.
