No problems at all - turned out the mechanic who rescued us at the side of the road had misdiagnosed the problem, which Alex noticed about 5 minutes in, correctly diagnosed the problem, went off for the part, and downgraded the job to a cheaper one even though it took almost as long!

I paid for significant repairs to my vehicle, after being advised these were the issues affecting the car from another garage. Following the repairs, I was informed of an additional fault (P0251 – Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control A), which I believe should have been identified and clearly communicated during the diagnostic process. The garage stated that I had been notified of additional faults via their portal; however, when I reviewed the portal, I could not find any notification relating to this fault and requested evidence of when I had been informed. Despite asking for clarification, copies of the diagnostic information, and evidence of these notifications, I have not received a response. I am disappointed with the communication and lack of transparency regarding the diagnostic findings. My experience left me feeling that important information was not clearly communicated, preventing me from making a fully informed decision about the repairs. What has been most disappointing is that, after raising these concerns and asking reasonable questions about the diagnosis and communication process, the garage has stopped responding altogether. As a customer who has spent £2000 on repairs, I would have expected a professional response and proper engagement with my concerns.
