From the first phone call in which we talked through the car probs through to the diagnosis, Danny was friend, professional, helpful, knowledgeable and determined to find the problem. Diagnosed the problem where 2 other local mechanics failed. After suspecting a fuel leak and brake fluid leak it turned out to be the gearbox! Sadly it was too late to save the gearbox but needed confirmation before scrapping. Should have done this in the first place.

The company and mechanic were probably OK but I never met them, so much for coming to me! the bill of £437 rose to £508.86 which was a bit alarming considering the car is as old as it is and its valuations. Nevertheless I will try and keep it going for one more year although with shopping deliveries it is probably not really worth me having a car as I only do about 500 miles a year and have a bus pass and can walk to town centre. Maintenance, Insurance and fuel make it a luxury so I will probably sell it to someone that needs it for their job in August

Jamie came a bit later than planned due to a holdup on the M6...not his problem. Did the alternator replacement in about 1hr including charging/voltage checks. Top man ,would defo use again,cheers mate.
