Sam is an absolute star, very punctual, completed a repair quickly with no fuss. The price was cheaper than I was quoted by other garages and the repair was completed much sooner as well. Highly recommended!

Not at all happy. Car went in for a clutch replacement which was £200 cheaper than anywhere else. I’d been pondering for 6 months whether to go ahead or not as I knew it was too cheap. Anyway with money being tight I had no other choice, so it was collected. Click Mechanic promise that no money is taken until the job is complete but that’s a complete fabrication. They ‘ring-fence’ the money straight away which effectively means it’s pending from your account and deducted from your balance so please don’t make people believe that you don’t take the money. Car went in and a few hours later I was told it needed a new fly wheel. Here we go….which costs another £400. My car has a solid mass flywheel which very rarely need replacement. I declined the work and was immediately told I would get no warranty with the new clutch. I wasn’t born yesterday and know everything there is to know about my car + have friends who are mechanics who also told me that solid mass flywheels don’t need replacing. Nice try and thanks for not giving me a warranty as a result. It’s almost like it’s a threat. Click Mechanic are in on the con too and without question will always back the mechanic and trust everything they say so forget about getting any backup from them. I was told by my friend to make sure they glaze bust the flywheel(standard procedure as part of clutch replacement) and was immediately told it would cost an additional £140 but then I’d receive my warranty… which further proves that extra money = promise of a better service. Jokers. Car returned so I jumped into it and couldn’t even get it into first gear!!!! I immediately rang the mechanic to complain and the driver was sent back. Again I was told it’s because of the flywheel(yet another lie) and the car was returned the following day and I was told something needed lubricating. I can now get it into first gear but it’s a struggle but the wife can’t manage it at all. I now have no choice but to get this work independently investigated by another mechanic to assess what’s been done and the quality of the workmanship. I will never use this site again and I don’t recommend that anybody else does either. Click Mechanic couldn’t care less so much so that if the mechanic told them the car can fly they’d believe him. Absolute con and a waste of money. Buy cheap buy twice. That’s the lesson here.
