Darren was contracted to change the auxiliary drive belt, whilst doing so he diagnosed that the auxiliary drive belt tensioner was faulty and the reason the belt came off in the first place. Both tensioner and belt were replaced and tested. All good now

J was a very nice, polite guy. He turned up, a little late but he communicated with me to make me aware he was running late. He performed a very basic diagnosis, informed me what the basic fault was with my car, and left. He was not equipped to actually perform any maintenance on my vehicle, so I essentially paid £90 for a guy to tell me my battery was flat and that I probably needed a new alternator. He jump started my car, advised me to get a new battery and have the alternator looked at, then left. 10 minutes max. When I drove to get a new battery, my car packed in after 10 minutes and ended up being towed to a nearby garage. Not J’s fault obviously, but his limited ability to actually assist me was disappointing. I would not consider the service value for money.
