All good, slight issue with the MOT booking date but dealt with well and rearranged promptly.

Hyder was absolutely lovely. He arrived earlier than booking time, but made sure it was ok. Arrived when he said he would. Checked and test drove my car a couple of times, couldn’t find any faults with it, however did advise what I could try to get stop the noisy gears. Hyder seemed knowledgeable, was polite, was happy to explain any questions I had. Should I need a mechanic again, I would 100% use Hyder.

I left a review last week after I had a “DPF clean”, being told it will now be fine and the loud noise within the car (which I thought is being caused by a full DPF) is just the car tyres, but I’ve just had the engine warning light come on saying the DPF is full. Therefore the £253 spent last week wasn’t necessary as it hasn’t actually cleaned it. The DPF will need replacing, so not impressed right now.

James was punctual, very efficient and professional in his approach. Unfortunately he could not pinpoint the fault exactly, but provided a useful opinion as to what the fault would likely be caused by (failure of an electronics module). Whilst I appreciate that the fault could not be fixed there and then, I was a little disappointed that no further onward strategy to identify/fix the fault could be suggested from within the clickmechanic framework.
