They told me what's wrong with my car and provide a quote for some of the jobs that need to be done.

The mechanic never turned up but insisted that the job has been done but I have been home all day the garage and the car locked and I have cctv to prove no one turned up AND the money has been taken for a job not done sounds like a scam to me and needs investigating seriously

I was told by 4 different 'mainstream' mechanic garages they couldnt do the job due to needing a specific programme on their computer!... when actually they only needed Shanes knowledge. The service was good but very unclear as to why I have been charged an additional fee. I received no parts and the period of labour was covered within the initial quote. It is unclear as to why you have charged me an additional £80. Was this labour or parts? As discussed I don’t think there is a case for either and therefore I don’t agree that I should pay. I am very unhappy with this outcome as I thought the mechanic was helpful, but in essence didn’t really provide a service as the car is unchanged. To be clear. The mechanic was here less than 30 mins to diagnose the vehicle. He attempted some fixes which didn’t really work, but in total the time taken was around 30 mins. No parts were ordered and no repairs made. There are no grounds to be able to charge me £80 more given the above. I have spoken with the mechanic who is not bothered and just saying that clickmechanic will have to deal with it. I really hope clickmechanic can help in this respect as the intermediary here they are responsible for the appropriate selection of third parties to work with and as such have a responsibility for resolving disputes. Whether I recommend clickmechanic to anyone will depend on the outcome of this issue.

Jonathan did an incredibly thorough job on inspecting the camper I was hoping to buy. He highlighted a LOT of problems that have made me reconsider this purchase sadly, but that's why pay for a vehicle inspection. He sent me over 120 photos of the vehicle, the good, the bad and the ugly and then, once I'd read his report and looked over all the photos, we had a long chat about pro's, con's, possible costs to renovate and repair and some straight talking advice. Just what you want. Well worth the money despite the negative outcome.

I'm really happy with the machanics they came to replace my clutch today, and they arrived at the stated time. they left no mess and explained machanic stuff to a complete novice in a way i almost understood. i highly recommend them ans would use them again.

Yes very happy knew exactly what was wrong with my car and fixed the clutch was fitted last week by another click mechanic but was having trouble selecting gears the clutch had not been bled properly
