Scott (and Megan,) were great, communicating all the time and kept mein the loop with the progress

The mechanic from Saltmarsh arrived in plenty of time meaning I didn’t have to wait around, he was polite and friendly and explained what would be happening. Car was delivered back a short while ago, job done and at a brilliant price considering it was collected and delivered back to me. I am so pleased to have discovered ClickMechanic and am delighted to have been given Saltmarsh to carry out the work on my Land Rover and would one hundred percent recommend both.

The whole service was efficient and great from start to finish. A minor communications issue was sorted out instantly.

Really good service, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Arrived very promptly, knew his stuff and was easy to talk to.

The car definitely runs better and less noisy. The mechanic was friendly and polite. Apart from the confusion of the mechanic saying that the car had passed the MOT on Monday when it did not pass until Wednesday.
The mechanic said he would send to my email but I have not received it yet, could you chase this up for me please.

The mechanic was prompt on arrival and very friendly. Asked questions on why work was required and kept me updated on issues they had encountered and when I would expect it to be completed. Car delivered back with all work completed satisfactorily. All in all a great experience, given the short notice to get the work done.

The car was picked up in morning and driven away by the mechanic. I received a phone call in the afternoon about the time I was expecting the car back to say they had discovered more work needed doing to the car and that the car would not be back till the next day. I asked the mechanic to just carry out the work I had originally booked because the additional work would have cost an additional £1100. The car was returned the next day by the mechanic but didn’t stay for me to have a test drive. The work I had instructed was to change the clutch so I was keen to drive the car to see the difference My drive started and finished very abruptly because as soon as I depressed the clutch the slightest, the engine stalled because the pedal had not been adjusted for the new clutch. I had to get my local mechanic to adjust the clutch pedal before going for another test drive. This time I had a lovely drive and the car like it was when I bought it 17 years ago. The only bad point I can make is that the clutch pedal should have been adjusted but apart from that, I am happy with the work. Read more
