Very happy with the work carried out. The only thing I’d say is that if you’re going to come at a time different to that agreed then call and say so we know and can plan our day. Good knowledge and service otherwise and would be happy to use again.

Very happy with Brandon. He was a bit late but did notify me that another job ran over - personally I respect a mechanic that stays to finish a job rather than clock watching for next job. Communication was great, he didn’t let me down when traffic caused him an extremely long journey time on the day. First time using a mobile mechanic and fingers crossed there’s been no downside, my brakes and pads were changed and done 100 mile already with no issues. 👍

Martin was friendly, chatty and knew his stuff. Was tidy and clean left no mess. Also showed me the damaged part and explained what it should of looked like. Which was above and beyond making me feel like I wasn't getting the work done for no reason.

AWFUL. DO NOT USE!!!! I wouldn’t wish Valley Autos on my worst enemy. I initially contacted Valley Autos because I had a stuck calliper and worn brake pads and discs. I arranged for them to inspect the car first — this was on a Sunday, so I paid extra for the ‘premium’ service. After the inspection, they informed me I also needed a new calliper. With my brakes now disconnected, they left the car and safe until the next day. When they returned Monday with a calliper — it was the WRONG one. I’d already taken the day off work expecting the repair to be done, but nope — still no working car. Tuesday rolled around, still no calliper, still no car, and another wasted day off. Sure, I get that sourcing parts takes time, especially on a weekend — but when they did finally order them, they still got it wrong. Finally, Wednesday, after three full days of me being without a vehicle and unable to work, they managed to get the parts and finish the job. Despite everything, I stayed calm and gave them the benefit of the doubt. Mistakes happen, right? If the service is professional and the work is solid, I’m happy to pay. That’s not what happened here. Shortly after the job was “done,” I noticed damage to the inside of my alloy wheel — freshly refurbished, diamond-cut alloys, now scratched down to the paint. Clearly from carelessly removing and refitting the wheel. No respect or attention to detail. And just as I was discovering this, I started getting calls and messages demanding payment. Unbelievable. It took them three days to sort their mess out, but I couldn’t even get a few hours to make a payment? The urgency made sense in hindsight — they probably knew the state they’d left my car in and didn’t want me to realize it before handing over the money. When I raised the damage with them, I was dismissed. No apology, no goodwill gesture, no offer to put things right. Just a token £40 offered begrudgingly — based on their assumption that a wheel refurb doesn’t cost more. As if I’d take their word for anything after what I’d just experienced. And the cherry on top? The whole thing cost me over £300. What a mug. Fast forward 4 months — I get a brake fluid warning light. Strange. I top up the fluid and take it to a real garage. I mention the replaced calliper and ask them to take a look. What they found was shocking: 1. The flexi hose wasn’t fixed in place — it’s meant to be secured through a bracket to reduce stress and align it properly. 2. The pipe connecting the flexi hose to the calliper wasn’t even hand-tight. The mechanic showed me — fluid was literally leaking out when the brakes were applied. 3. The support clip for the flexi pipe was missing altogether. A part had to be ordered because Valley Autos just… didn’t bother fitting it. Two of those faults I can show in photos — along with the alloy damage. But the most damning thing? After again reaching out to Sarah — politely — to try and have a conversation, I was totally ignored. Multiple messages, no reply. No responsibility. No professionalism. They don’t care one bit about the safety of their customers or the quality of their work. And that’s the thing — the actual work was terrifyingly bad, but somehow it was still overshadowed by the truly atrocious customer service. It’s clear Valley Autos doesn’t stand by their work or their customers. Now that a real garage has fixed their mess properly — without damaging anything, ordering the right parts first time, and treating me with respect — I can finally drive safely again. Avoid Valley Autos at all costs. Absolutely shocking from start to finish.
