Was very helpful and talked me through what all the issues could be and checked everything. I feel I have a good understanding of the faults I can go back to car dealer and not be told the issue is something else.

Tristan did show some knowledge, but admitted that he was not equipped with Renault Diagnostic program which could deal with faulty immobiliser!!! To be honest I can't trust 100% on his judgment as it seems that he wanted the job without been prepared at the necessary level to sort Renault electrical fault issues!

As well as receiving the email report, Tristan called me to provide an update on the condition of the car I was buying. He was professional, polite and knowledgeable. The seller of the car had similar comments.

Tristan was sound - despite not actually being able to fix my car (because the RAC breakdown guy misinformed about the reason for the fault) he did provide me with a comprehensive diagnosis of the real problem with my vehicle. He was also very helpful and punctual, which I greatly appreciated.

Not happy with what diagnostic inspection involved for £59. It involved mechanic listening to engine as I drove about a mile down the road with him as passenger. Checking for wheel bearing issues by pulling on the tyres only and manually spinning the tyres to look for faults. No equipment was used. His diagnostic was very basic and wrong. He said problem with rear tyres although noise coming from the front. A tyre specialist has since checked tyres on machinery at speed and they think it is not tyres but wheel bearing as I originally thought. I wasted £59. Tristan identified the problem very quickly and I asked about other issues I had been told about at my last MOT which he checked and pointed out did not need rectifying. It is a pleasure to meet someone with such integrity. I shall be using his services in future.
