I booked Jon from SMS autocare to carry out a brakes change, servicing and MOT. His associate arrived on time, took the car and later on I got a call from Jon to explain a few things that made the MOT fail. We agreed on the change and price and everything went smooth. He assessed that the rear drums didn't need changing but cleaning which he offered as an option, and the money saved from this change balanced part of the extra cost of the items needed to pass the MOT. On and all I paid £80 more than originally quoted on clickMechanic but understandably so and I trully believe I saved money vs a Halfords or Kwikfit. Will definitely use again. Very satisfied. Didn't meet my mechanic, but the guy that came to pick up my car friendly enough. Car was brought back promptly. Overall a good trouble free service. Difficult to comment on workmanship because it was a replacement Timing belt, so can't see it, but the car is running well.

John communicated well and advised his timing the day before pick-up. He then happily handled my request at short-notice to top-up the washer fluid, and returned my car with zero fuss.

Jon did an amazing inspection which saved me thousands of quids i would have spent on a terrible car. I am truly impressed by his professional assessment.
