Mark was friendly and polite, misdiagnosed the problem, ok mistakes happen but had already paid 124 for diagnosis, different mechanic arrived to fix the issue and instantly realised misdiagnosis so had to pay him for his time so £164 down and offered £20 refund, insult!!! Never again 🤬🤬

As you say mechanic arrived and found issue straight away, yet he was paid to strip it down, I wasn’t, so could not even jack it up, As stated as the van would not run it was really hard to diagnose the problem without stripping the van down, as you had only paid for a diagnostic check( which by the way is a plug in) hence why I said it may be water pump, or pulley, or tensioner etc and that further investigation would be needed, yet you still leave this unfair feedback even though I was in the right area, really awkward when you’ve not paid for me to strip it down and look at, infact you paid for a health check also which I did, thats why your bill was so expensive because of yhe heath check, I offered a partial refund but you wanted more back than I got paid, so that’s upto you, I suggest you pay for the correct service next time and not a diagnostic inspection( that’s a plug in) when your engine will only run for a few seconds. ps in nearly 400 jobs this is my first bad review, which was not my fault i should have just plugged in to van and left it at that, but being the kind friendly person as i am i had a look and pointed you in the right direction, infact you told me your brothers mate had a garage? so he would sort it out? so how did you have to pay another mechanic £40 to strip it down? anyway your the first to leave a bad review for me. I Did a 4 yr Apprentiship at R and L plant limited but worked there for 5 yrs
Then worked at Plant and Tool limited as a diesel fitter.
Worked as a head mechanic at South Wales Morris minor specialist for 7 years
Worked at valley industrial as a head Diesel engineer/ Steel works
Worked at Cambrian garage as a head Mot Tester/mechanic I was also an Authorised Examiner for 2 yrs.
