Ford Focus Car Won't Start Inspection

The job was fine but £96 for a five minute visit to be told my battery is flat is an awful lot of money! The service and mechanic were fine I just think the charge is too much for such a short visit!

you knew the price when you booked it? wish i got that much £64.59 i got which includes my fuel, insurance, road tax, customer liabilty insurance etc etc plus i could have been there 45mins? same charge? just becuase i found the fault within 5 mins should not reflect on me or Click Mechanic, you knew the price when job was booked.

Mark has done a few jobs for me now and is always punctual and reliable. Unfortunately this job was a difficult one and required services outside of clickmechanics remit, but Mark was accurate in his assessment, how to take forward and the likely hurdles in doing this.

I'm sorry, but diagnostic was incorrect, leaving me having to take my car to a Mercedes dealer and pay way and above normal garage costs, probably double - not happy ! Sorry

I only told you whst machine was telling me? saying your sams unit was not working correctly? im not a mercedes specialist i can only tell you what it said on the machine no more no less as i said youd need a specialist which you clearly did, it did not help me any that youd already started dismantling the car and removing ignition switch which may or may not have created other faults, as car wouldnt start i could not clear faults to run car again to get to the faults that were left, so i put some blame on you for taking the dash apart before i even arrived.

Then worked at Plant and Tool limited as a diesel fitter.

Worked at valley industrial as a head Diesel engineer/ Steel works
