At first comms was great and collection was made on time, but after drop off I noticed tapping noises and found stray bolts and screws that was not fitted back, I then identified damages that were caused and fixings brken and brakets not bolted back after timing belt was done. After raising my concerns, I also offered to provide categoric proof with before and after pictures. The mechanics response did not offer to investigate and follow the customer complaints, the mechanic was displeased to find out that I had taken pictures of my car before collection then the mechanic says he not comfortable to work on my car and the mechanic ignorantly assumed my complaint was to gain monetary value which I found to be somewhat offending. The mechanic claimed the damages are age related but my pictures are clear. As a customer I have the right to take pictures before collection of my car and now the pictures are unarguably clear evidence. DETAILED FAULTS Initially made good and prompt communications and collected my car on time, but it is clear there was some lack in detail and care when removing some basic parts and left out bolts and screws and damaged 1 important engine mount bolt also bent my oil sump pan, I have detailed pictures to prove they were in perfect order before collection. Because I took a lot of pictures in detail before collection. ■ 1 Engine mount bolt sheared (needs coolant pipe disconnecting to access bolt) you should have just replaced the bolt and billed me! ■ Oil pan dented! (after timing belt done) ■ Coolant pipe bracket not slotted in and not bolted back on. ■ Coolant return pipe bracket not screwed in, screw left off. ■ coolant temp sensor wire not clipped back on and left hanging over the auxiliary vbelt. Metal clip not fitted correctly on Throttle body, if not spotted the sharp end would cut through the coolant hose leading to thermostat. ■ Actual job to diagnose a loud whining noise was not definitively diagnosed, Yet a diagnostic cost was paid. Later found out by alternate garage the pulley tensioner was the cause of the ehining noise and needs replacing not just the guide pulley. ■ I wish a good handover was offered when the car was returned. I know you are a well respected garage and highly knowledgeable, this is why I chose you and wanted a reputable firm to work on my car.

Was told the car would be picked up between 12pm and 2pm on Saturday, finally picked the car up on Monday and didn't start the work until Tuesday. Wednesday I was asked to pick the car up and was told after they fitted a new clutch (£607.00) that it was the master cylinder and wanted another £150.00 to fix it. Finally got told the car was ready on the Thursday and was brought back at 7pm after me loosing 3 days work for a 5 hour job. Very hard to contact click macanic because the phone lines are always closed ! Will never be using ever again !
