I recently had the clutch replaced on my Hyundai i10 with Alastair, and after that the clutch cable also needed replacing. Once the new cable went in, I found I was still struggling with gears and even got stuck in reverse at one point. I was so stressed, but Alastair was brilliant throughout. He took the time to check everything properly, explained what was happening, and told me how the adjustments worked. In the end it turned out the cable just needed tightening, which he sorted straight away. What impressed me most is that he didn’t charge me for that adjustment, he genuinely wanted to make sure I was back on the road safely and confident. It’s rare to find a mechanic who’s not only skilled but also patient, understanding and honest. Even though it was a stressful journey for me, I came away feeling like I was in safe hands. I’d recommend Alastair to anyone who wants a mechanic who cares about doing things right.

Jamie was great - he was very knowledgeable and took photos of the step by step timing belt installation, he was on time and very approachable, A really nice guy . He finished the job really quick. I would absolutely use Jamie again and highly recommend him to anyone. Five stars all the way.

Sorry dont know the name of mechanic - but he did a great job on what is a very old car and probably wasn't quite as straightforward as anticipated, however his perseverance paid off and all worked well - thank you sp much.
