Yes friendly which is good as a 63 yr old nan need car working to see g kids summer hols .. they did not do any work but diagnosed APB pump need replace : did not want to do that work, too many trips he said, the garage I now take to and 2 other mechanic have ask why this diagnostic (2 wheel sensors) led straight to pump altho poss it’s usual to clear codes .. short drive .. see if phantom or what comes up : it’s also poss wheel sensors need replace .. problem is having paid £90 I’m still in the dark. When a man stroll up chat to mechanic I was just stood there like a spare part with no real explanation: so he didn’t actually properly explain. It’s hot. I get it. I even believed him. And it’s poss he’s right but can you explain? click mechanic say they sort start to finish and source diff mechanic if more work needed. I will now find a good mechanic prepared to do the actual job. I also found it weird hé diagnose n then said well good news it’s drives. Yes it’s got 20,000 miles on it and no actual brake problem that I can detect driving it. No noise no problem at all. Darren arrived on time, i was in my garden and couldn't hear him with the chaos , my two dogs barking. I felt quite embarrassed. He was friendly and professional. He had to move my car, due to only having off street parking so he could park my car next to his van. He delivered back to the spot I was parked in ( parking is very limited in my road) plus put the sun protector back on my windscreen. He waited patiently, while I went to retrieve my service book, I forgot to give him. He must wonder how I get myself to work in the mornings 😂😂
