Nice guy, on time and thorough but things were missed and a couple of things were incorrectly diagnosed. I should point out that many things were found and subsequently corrected by the dealer pre-purchase. Next time I will use the AA or RAC.

Friendly mechanic but the checks were quite superficial. Did not check the specific issues I had with the car. I am finding issues with the car now that I've had it for a week that could've been picked up at the inspection. Such as: the boot lid seems like it has been replaced and painted. I can see corrosion marks at the edges but it was not in the report. The battery died on me within the week which was supposed to be checked. Also there is a grinding noise coming from the gearbox which is most likely a faulty input shaft bearing that should've been picked up at the drive test. This will cost me a fortune to fix on top of the money I've already paid for for the premium check!! It was quite disappointing and feeling like a waste of money now.
