Andy responded to our late night request to replace brake pads and disks, arriving a few hours later in the morning. By 9:45 everything had been replaced, test drive done and a great job completed. Great value and a great guy!

Communication was awful, took longer to do the job and charged me more, fixed the problem but did it wrong so my MOT failed.

Not impressed by the mechanic Paul who turned up today to carry out a MOT and full service on my car GY61HMG

Late for appointment
Turned up at 9.05 am after informing me previously that he would be here at 8 am – Did not even inform me he would be late or indeed apologies .


Full Service
Spent only 20 minutes/half hour maximum servicing my car before taking my car for an MOT. I have been reliably informed that carrying out a FULL service (71 point check) on my car would take at least 1 hour. It's obvious to me that many parts of the full service had been missed . (71 point check for full service as stated by your website)

Payment

I received an email prior to Paul getting back with my car from the MOT station in Avonmouth stating “Congratulations booking complete Paul has charged £222. 03 to my card.”
I find this totally unacceptable .. It clearly states on your web site that no payment will be released to the mechanic until the job is complete and I am satisfied and agree to the work that has been carried out to my satisfaction .
To release the funds prior to this is totally against your advertising standards.

If this is how Clic Mechanic operates via mechanics, I will go elsewhere for my car repairs.

I normally use my local garage but decided to give Clic Mechanic a try this time … Will know where to go for my car repairs in the future ...Not Clic Mechanic
