Mark and his colleague came to install a new petrol pump but advised me that it was the relays that had corroded and caused a problem. The repair was therefore quicker and cheaper than I was expecting. The car is now working and seems fine at the moment.

Darren was very courteous, friendly and knowledgeable and diagnosed the problem quickly. He did the repair on time and efficiently (although we were'nt at home at the time). The car runs beautifully now.
The replacement fuel pump needed a gasket which was additional to the original quote - maybe this could have been forseen.

Battery & MOT - the battery was replaced and the old one taken away fine (lost radio codes however), but the MOT was not completed as he claimed that the test failed on emissions, so the test was abandoned and he said I wasn't going to be charged for an MOT. He said he was trying to save me money by doing it this way, but this was ultimately only a £14 deduction from the final bill and I didn't have any figures for the emissions to know if the work carried out previously had been successful or not. I was then given a £180 quote to do what I now have proved to be unnecessary work, I proved this by obtaining an independent MOT which it passed without any modifications at all.
