It all started going haywire when the guy who collected my car left after only waiting a minute even though they turned up early to the time slot and gave no prior notice. Then he was extremely rude when he finally returned. My car was dropped off to me with an empty coolant tank even though I was charged for coolant and water pump replacement?

Hi,
Thank you for your review.
Regarding your vehicle, we carried out the timing belt and water pump replacement as instructed. After completing the work, we left the vehicle running for approximately one and a half hours to check for any coolant leaks or related issues.
Once we confirmed there were no visible leaks and the coolant level was at the maximum mark, the vehicle was driven back to you.
In our experience, after a water pump replacement, it is possible for the coolant level to drop slightly once the system has fully circulated and the vehicle has cooled down, as any remaining air pockets work their way through the system.
In that situation, the coolant level may require topping up.
We apologise that the driver did not mention this clearly at the time of return. The customer should have been advised to check and top up the coolant once the vehicle had cooled down.
