Jon owns and operates SMS Autocare and has been running the business for over 15 years in the Slough area. Prior to setting up SMS Autocare Jon completed his apprenticeship and was then a mobile mechanic for 5 years. The team at SMS Autocare are fully trained and able to deal with all makes and models of cars (including EV and hybrid) and tackle all repairs and MOT's including motor bikes. The team at SMS operate a garage but are fully committed to a collection/drop-off service and have 5 dedicated full-time drivers. For the collection and drop-off facility Jon will contact customers the evening before the booking and inform collection times.

It seems that the job was done very well, and very professionally. John was coordinating the pick up and delivery of the job and everything was very well communicated and as it stands, early days, seems to have been a great job. He provided additional and useful guidance on a particular mechanical matter relating to the car, a separate issue.

Yes, we are satisfied with the service/MOT and additional work required. Perhaps an oversight, but the car was dropped back before the final phone call on how much it would all cost. We had agreed the work but was waiting to hear about the final amount and a possible oil leak problem.
Saying that, the work seemed good, so we would use again and other communications were useful.
