Jon owns and operates SMS Autocare and has been running the business for over 15 years in the Slough area. Prior to setting up SMS Autocare Jon completed his apprenticeship and was then a mobile mechanic for 5 years. The team at SMS Autocare are fully trained and able to deal with all makes and models of cars (including EV and hybrid) and tackle all repairs and MOT's including motor bikes. The team at SMS operate a garage but are fully committed to a collection/drop-off service and have 5 dedicated full-time drivers. For the collection and drop-off facility Jon will contact customers the evening before the booking and inform collection times.

Did what's stated on invoice but when complaint was made, rather than resolve it, got shouted down the phone for pointing out the issues and hung up the phone, terrible customer service.

Hi thank you for your reply

I’d like to point out that at no stage did I shout at you down the phone
You made a complaint that I did not change your air filter during the service and the brake fluid was on the minimum level
I followed this up with a phone call as I found this unjustified And replied back to you along with photo images to support this .
But as pointed out to you
you did not book for an air filter to be changed you booked for an oil and filter change and mot
And you was informed during the job that you required front and rear brake pads this was also added to your MOT test certificate

You pointed out that you have your own garage local to you that does all of your repairs and they would carry out this work I offered you a quotation to do the work of which you declined
you then raised a resolution case to complain about my workmanship but I did not change the air filter and I did not top up your brake fluid none of this you paid for
I did not put the phone down on you I believe we got cut off or you put the phone down on myself
I always provide a fair and honest service to all my customers as my reviews show however it would appear that you have instructed a mechanic to check my workmanship to see if there is a fault to be found
This is not professional behaviour coming from someone working in the customer service industry
