Renault Megane II Suspension Noise Inspection

Good diagnosis but no follow up made.
Seemed put out that he had to come out on bank holiday but he didn't have to accept the job.
Took the car to Halfords who diagnosed the problem for free so a bit miffed we used this option.

I wasn't put out at all,beautiful sunny day and I accepted the job and arrived almost within that time frame,struggled to find you but got there in the end.
We had a nice chat and you explained money was tight,so I offered to see if I could as a one off get some secondhand parts to fit.however I do have to make phone calls to breakers in my own time and wait for them to get back to me.so I only had Tuesday and Wednesday ,I have im pleased to say found three people who can supply the parts.
If you wanted new parts this could have been quoted with in 10 minutes either with you using then click website or me doing it for you.
I have always said using second hand parts can save a great deal of money but it can take a couple of days to find those parts and then a couple of days to get those parts in my hand.
New parts you can normally get same day or next day.
And the job could have been done far cheaper then using new.
It would have cost around 80.00 to fit a second hand unit parts and labour and I could have collected your car and dropped it off,however the down side is the time frame is around a week.
Now I could have done it Tuesday with new parts but I haven't priced it but I guess it would be a great deal more

BMW 3 Series 8 hours labour fitting timing chain,relapping valves.honing piston bores
Extra two hours due to having to remove exhaust as manifold bolts too rusty to remove without damage,And extra time sorting out lpg pipe work
