I didn't have a problem with the mechanic but I don't think your clickmechanic site is for me. It's a good idea to get repair work done at home but it didn't work for me.
Firstly, the price was misleading for me as I thought it was going to be about £62.40 for 10k miles service but when I complained that the mechanic didn't turn up at the assigned time, I got the call saying that the mechanic wanted to know what parts to change so he didn't come, yet nobody contacted me about the issue. I especially waited at home for this. Also, turned out I had to pay another £60.45 for parts.

Secondly, the mechanic only came and changed the parts. When I switch on the car I still get the warning sign of 'Service due'. I reset it myself but the warning sign hasn't gone. I expected these things to be taken care of during a car service and there should have been a health check of some sort and a receipt given with some details of the checks, mileage, parts used etc. I received nothing!
I will still have to take my car to an Audi mechanic and get that fixed. Read more
