Arrived and started work. Realised some alternative parts required. Went off collected them and came back and completed the job.

Isaac called early afternoon to update me as to when he'd arrive. When he was here, extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

At the start of the job, the mechanic was not able to dismount the strut mount-top part as it was rusted. He decided to flame it, which was dangerous as the car could get on fire. After he managed it, he mounted the shock absorbers. However, he put the strut mount (down part) in the wrong way. It looks like he did not know how to operate. After the job was completed, the mechanic and I went for a driving test. It was possible to hear noises from the car. However, he denied it and explained to me that the noises were on my mind (so rude). After the mechanic left, I went to Halfords to make sure that it would be safe to drive after the mechanic's work. Halfords explained to me that the mechanic did not assemble the strut mount correctly, and the cost of the damage would be £80.00.

Dan was spot on. Good communication before the pre purchase inspection, good communication afterwards and a detailed report to follow his verbal assessment. He obviously inspected the vehicle thoroughly and was able to go through his findings in great detail. I felt very confident purchasing the vehicle after his inspection. Kevin was on time, did the job with no fuss. Showed me the replaced parts a a small minor problem that can be resolved at next service. Kevin replenished and cleaned up the area and did a test drive. I would use him again.
