This was a pre inspection with Mike giving me a call after. He was very knowledgeable and advised me on his findings, a bad case of ' black death' which he explained in detail.

When car was picked up I wouldn’t say that the mechanic was friendly. Seemed keen to get away quickly. The problem with the car was discussed, but only briefly. The car was repaired, but another problem was identified, which the garage undertook to do and was completed satisfactorily. The problem was communication which was very poor. Did not let me know when the repairs were completed. Said they had tried to phone me and texted me but that was not the case.

Brendan was punctual and polite and completed the service in good time. He identified some works that needed to be carried out before the car was MOT'd and sent a work order for this following our original slot. I was only disappointed that it wasn't him that carried out the rest of the works in the end!

To start with I will say that they carried out the work to a good standard, sending me a video of the newly fitted parts so I felt reassured that the work was done and done well. They also cleaned my car inside and out as an apology for the lateness and frustrations. However, this mechanic is based in Reading which means they had to drive into central London to collect my car, leaving their vehicle in my parking space and then return the car during rush hour traffic. They messaged me the evening before to say they were in the area dropping another car and could they collect my car after that. I said yes and made sure I was home by 9pm to facilitate. Then I had to chase for an ETA and they said they wouldn't be there till 10pm so I said it was too late and they'd have to collect in the morning. My scheduled pick up was between 8am-10am and they called (after I'd asked for an ETA) to say could they come at 11am or 12. I explained I had meetings later in the morning and that I also felt that given their travel time to Reading and back, picking the car up later would have an impact on getting it back later. They said they would be back with the car by 7pm, which I said was too late. They then agreed 5pm but it didn't make it back till 6pm. I repeatedly said that they shouldn't book work that is so far away from their garage and they suggested that the delays were my fault as I live in a busy area. It obviously cost me significant petrol to have the car taken to Reading and back which I was not happy about. I don't think it's an efficient service and had I realised sooner I would have cancelled the work.

Mo was very attentive when coming to view my car. It was a rush job and he came as right on time with regular calls and updates throughout the premium check. He even found a couple of issues with the vehicle which the dealer didn't pick up on which helped when negotiating. Overall impressed with the feedback of the report and knowledge. I'm not a massive car guy myself so was a sense of relief having someone like Mo turning up to do my review.

Super happy with the guys that came they were so quick I couldn’t believe it. I will definitely use this service again it was brilliant
