Having seen where the starter motor was located on my car, I had my fears that this wouldn't be able to be done without being put on a ramp. Shane had everything he needed to do the job and despite it being a bit of a tricky job, he did it well under the time period given.

Yet again a seamless process end to end. Driver turned up on time to pick the car up, was courteous and respectful of covid. Mechanic called to provide MOT outcome and that work was complete. Car dropped off at home an hour or so later. No surprises.

As far as I know, the work was fine - the car had nothing wrong with it AFAIK, it's a routine replacement of a cambelt and waterpump at the manufacturer's recommended service interval.

I received a text to say when they'd pick up my car, and the mechanic arrived during the time quoted, and had the car back by noon.
