Went to VW , they advised different diagnostic , job sorted won’t be using you guys again

Hi Ian
I remember this case and it was a complex electronic issue. I ran a comprehensive full system scan on your vehicle using the latest tools and software available outside of a vw dealership. I remember i did advise the nature of the issues the vehicle reported could be a few different possible issues, and I advised you should take the vehicle to the dealership. I also advised the exact dealer which was best suited to deal with the issue.
The reason for my advice was related to the dealer experience and they have seen this set of diagnostic codes before as they are brand specialists. I'm pleased to see you got your van sorted and hopefully quickly.
If this vehicle had gone for repair at a general mechanic business your repair invoice would have be much more due to the investigation time it would have taken to find the fault.
I'm sorry you are unhappy but my advice was to refer the vehicle to the main agent as that was the best and most cost effective path for you to take at the time, clearly that advice was correct as your vehicle is now fixed.
