Sam arrived the first time as expected but the parts were the wrong size. He said to return the following morning but eventually turned up at 4pm. Job completed now. Can't comment on the work as I can't see it!

Vauxhall Vivaro Power steering pump replacement

I booked a steering pump replacement and had a quote of 2 hrs labour and £281. The earliest appointment was for 4 days later. (Thur)
Unfortunately on arrival the drive belt and low pressure hose had also been damaged and requires replacing. Mechanic quoted £54.60 for hose no labour to fit.
I had a few promises on when this would be completed, ie the following day (Fri) but it never happened. I had to chase up the mechanic a number of times for updates. At the end of Friday, Eden Vauxhall were blamed for the fact the hose had not arrived as promised. This had a knock on effect as I had work booked so now had to cancel it costing me £130.
I was assured the work was priority for the following day (Sat) and he would collect the part at 0830hrs from Eden Vauxhall and come straight over to fit. Again numerous chase ups to get an answer and now a power cut at Eden Vauxhall was blamed.
Eventually fitted p.m Saturday.
On looking at invoice I see I have also been charged £72.60 for the hose. Total price charged
Van is fixed and back on road mechanic offered a good will gesture of a free MOT which was refused, I lost work as a result of promises.
