Yes, they were courteous and I think knowledgeable. It's always tricky as they found more that they felt needed doing on my car than I had anticipated, but I concluded the work was justified and they explained why it needed doing.

All the work was carried out remotely, so I did not have any direct contact with the mechanic. Following the initial MOT failure, I had no control over the cost of the required repairs. While the repairs have now satisfied the requirements of the MOT test, I believe the cost was excessive. In addition, I am concerned that I have been charged the ULEZ charge for the car's journey on 18 Oct 23 but told that the return journey to my home would be covered by Trade Plates. I have not had any confirmation of this.

They were very good at letting me know what was needed. Considering they stepped in at the last minute after my other mechanic fell ill, they did a really good job. The drivers who picked up and dropped off my car were very considerate and courteous. They will need to take your car inside the ULEZ and they asked me to pay for that which you need to be aware of. But for ease of use and no headaches they made it easy to have the work done.

Very polite, I’m satisfied on the work done in my car, fixed a problem that another mechanic could not fix.
Booked for 6-8pm but they called early morning and picked my car up from work , fixed and drop back to work without extra cost. Very convenient !

My vehicle was collected on Saturday at 10am and taken into the ULEZ which I have to pay. They then called my at 5:30 to say it failed it's MOT but they couldn't quote a price as their suppliers were closed and they would ring me with a quote tomorrow morning. I didn't hear anything and called they at 4 only to be told they weren't open on a Sunday. I called them on Monday and they hadn't made a quote. Finally got a quote in the afternoon which was extortionate but I paid straight away hoping to get my car back yesterday. It finally arrived this afternoon. Rubbish service from them and annoying that click mechanic got me a mechanic in London when I live in Surrey.

Mechanic was quick and did the job. My only issue was I paid for the tyres I wanted and then on the day of the appointment was told that they don't have them in stock and had to pay even more on the day for an alternative set.
I think this should have been clearer at time of booking.

But to recap they communicated well and did what they said they were going to do.

The team from automatic motors were superb from start to finish. Car serviced and MOT in a day. My car is quite old and had fail at mot but the team were able to get the part and fix and then retest and passed !!

Car driving best it has in a long time after service !

Communication was ok but work has been poor. Got call to say that additional work is required and charged me considerable amount of money. Car was returned but then another light stopped working (not even part of initial work). Contacted garage to offer them to come and see but was ignored. Went to local garage and they told me that bulb replacement that I was charged for wasn’t even done. Now I had to order parts that they have missed and not happy at all

Great job done from Automatic Motors. Picked the car up at the agreed time, performed a Full Service and replaced front brake pads. Excellent comms & very convenient.
