I've been working on cars for 40 years in some shape or form. I started off with my father in his garage fixing cars and worked with him when I was 14 years old until i left school. I studied engineering at college and from there I worked in a motorbike shop/garage and eventually I worked at Central Tyres in Essex for a few years and then moved to a few other garages in order to gain a broader spectrum of skills and when I had that in my armoury I began my own business in 1996 and been working in it since. I am able to service all makes/models and tackle all types of repairs.

Renault Scenic/Grand Scenic II Fuel filter replacement

Advised customer extra time charged for removal of fuel filter housing as i had to remove front bumper to remove complete housing bracket as filter was fixed in with large jubilee clip and unable to release.

Wasn't very pleasant just said it was cam belt and would be 200 pounds so didn't actually do anything I woul like a full refund.

Vauxhall/Opel Astra-H Unable to carry out cambelt replacement as cambelt has jumped off whilst customer was driving.Advised customer that head would need removing and possible valves requiring replacement.I Advised that he would be charged diagnosis fee.

Mechanic rushed his repairs and left my car with very soft brakes. Not much use if I had needed to do an emergency stop! I will not use ClickMechanic ever again and will not recommend this website to anyone. In retrospect I should have used a local trusted garage and paid the extra.
