Work carried out …to be ripped off £117 for diaognostics when I could go to my local garage and they charge £45!

Hi thanks for your rather negative review, your car was booked in for a high pressure fuel pump replacement at a cost of approximately £1500 .
Your car did not require the work you booked , the pump was pre ordered and paid for by me alone , and will now have to be returned for a refund .
So that’s 2 trips to parts supplier , I’m lucky they don’t charge me a handling charge as it’s a special order part , and I have identified the actual problem and only charged £117
Please help me and tell me how you’ve been ripped off , as I already spoke to your partner and pre advised him that the diagnosis that you had previously ( for £45 ) was totally incorrect .

First ever using this service.
Fair job done with few hick ups along the way, they broke wheel lock nut. Whole process got long with extra cost to replace everything. Mechanic did get it sorted at the end for me.
They gave 10% off from total cost i guess fair deal done at the end.

Hi thanks for the review, not as bad as I thought it may have been , your comment are quite fair , but I will defend myself —— I can’t replace brake pads with out wheel removal , and I don’t know of any other way of removing wheel nuts as every car in the world only come off anti clock wise !!!!! I completely understand why you were frustrated but I will attempt to assure you that no one else would have bothered to resolve your problem , but I did at a great expense in time and I kind of think you know that

It beats leaving your car at the garage all day!!!
I’d like to say that my workmanship is second to none and my van carries a extensive range of tools and the latest diagnostic equipment, needless to say that it is a van and there are limitations to what I can carry .
I’d also like to say that you will be happy with any work I carry out , your car will be protected from damage and with time permitting I’ll also wash your car before I leave , ( will need water and power)
