Jim was very punctual, professional and knowledgeable. He worked continuously without a break on my car service and replaced the front brake pads/discs as requested. No fuss, just did what was required and left old parts/packaging so complete transparency around work completed. Top notch first experience of a mobile mechanic coming to home. Citroen Xsara Picasso Steering rack gaiter replacement (driver side)

James arrived during the specified time frame and was pleasant, he was to fit 2 steering rack gaiters on a Citroen Xsara Picasso
At the start of the job he said there is always a way of fitting the gaiters after I told him about the difficult nature of fitting Citroen steering gaiter. He burst a gaiter trying to fit it and charged me since he used both of them. He couldn't complete the job and had to take car to garage meaning it worked out more expensive than just taking the car to the garage in the first place

Hello Walter. I was at the job 1.5 hours and did try my best to fit the other gator . Unfortunately it ripped when trying to fit it . You were refunded a half hours labour and 1 steering gator. Both track rod ends were seized which I took the time to unseize and 1 steering gator was replaced. Thanks. all the best .
