1st time I have used Clickmechanics. I needed by brake discs and pads replaced urgently. Jim came out, carried out the work at my home in the rain and was done in an hour. Lovely guy and a very professional job. I am so pleased with the work and would highly recommend. Will definitely use again in the future.

After I put my job up, Jim gave me a call with honest and detailed information about the job itself, materials needed and potential prices. Jim completed the job professionally and did an excellent job, on top of that he's a really friendly guy. I'm more than happy with the price and quality of work carried out and would 100% recommend Jim to anyone looking for a fair price and a professional job.

Jim was great. He called beforehand to make sure everything was ok for the visit and to confirm he had collected the parts. A quick chat and we confirmed a plan of action.
Jim explained the work that would be needed at each stage so we could make an informed decision around the options available.
Not all the parts were needed and I was only billed for those used.
Excellent service by Jim

Can't fault the service. Kept me up to date with the price and the expectation of when he would be here and how long it would take.
Felt safe with James replacing my brakes as it's a lot of trust to put on someone.
Will recommend to all my friends and all colleagues.

mechanic charged me £57 for 1 minute work. he pulled a lever. he couldn't get bonnet open, it was stuck so he went to his next job, he either made no effort or didn't have the tools. my local mechanic opened it in 2 minutes for free.
beware with mobile mechanics, there is a high likelihood that they wont have the tools or man power for the job and they will charge you for the hour at expensive rate. the responses from clickmechanic were not helpful at all.
Reply from James:
You were charged 1 hours labour as I turned up to the job . I couldnt get the bonnet open and was told that it had been like that for a long time . I was there to service your car not to repair a bonnet latch . Sorry you had a bad experience but not my fault . I should have been informed of the bonnet beforehand .
I set-up my own business in 2004 trading as SAS Steering Alignment Services focusing on mobile repairs and alignment. Ryan joined SAS and we now have better coverage for our customers. We cater for all makes/models & repairs. All this done at your home or work place.
