1st time I have used Clickmechanics. I needed by brake discs and pads replaced urgently. Jim came out, carried out the work at my home in the rain and was done in an hour. Jim was great. He called beforehand to make sure everything was ok for the visit and to confirm he had collected the parts. A quick chat and we confirmed a plan of action.
Jim explained the work that would be needed at each stage so we could make an informed decision around the options available.
Not all the parts were needed and I was only billed for those used.

mechanic charged me £57 for 1 minute work. he pulled a lever. he couldn't get bonnet open, it was stuck so he went to his next job, he either made no effort or didn't have the tools. my local mechanic opened it in 2 minutes for free.

beware with mobile mechanics, there is a high likelihood that they wont have the tools or man power for the job and they will charge you for the hour at expensive rate. the responses from clickmechanic were not helpful at all.
