As I am buying a repaired Cat D car it was important to know that the car was mechanically sound, 100% roadworthy and that the repairs previously carried out were done so to a safe and acceptable standard.

He explained everything fully and answered all of my questions, even questions that did not directly relate to the car he inspected.

He highlighted some lock issues relating to the rear doors and boot, as a result the seller immediately had them fixed the same day.

It is unlikely that I would have noticed this issue myself before buying the car, so I am very grateful it was picked up on as it has saved me from facing an immediate garage bill.

I am proceeding with the purchase of the car and I am no longer worrying about the ‘Cat D’ aspect.
