Changed the pads quickly and gave advice about brake disks that dealer had overlooked.

James was friendly, helpful and quick, I'm pleased with the work done. He found other problems and called Click Mechanic to fix and James will return this Saturday.

He was really efficient and diligent, and really thorough in doing the vehicle inspection.

He was very knowledgable as a mechanic and explained things very well and simplified. He also turned up nice and early meaning before we arrived to look at the car he had already done his work which was convenient. But he did also say that the car drove fine which it really didnt. Took the car up to 50mpg on country lanes, did a brake test and the car nearly took me and 2 of my closest friends off the road, when i broke the car swerved quite a bit to the left leaving me to correct by steering to the right and re-adjusting break pedal pressure. Scary car considering it ‘drives fine’. Other than that like i said this guy really did know his cars and gave me good advice, he put alot into perspective for me including what it may cost me to put the rust right, just a bit confused how he missed such a big thing. We didnt buy the car in the end we were all shaking after the test drive and i probably wouldnt have driven it if he had mentioned this. Communication was ok, he talked over me a few times in conversation when i had questions but maybe he couldnt hear me because it was bad signal i have no way of knowing really. Never saw the bloke though so maybe it would be a better customer experience if the mechanic speaks face to face with you next time instead of just leaving 10 mins before we arrive. Friendly, knowledgeable and quick to get the job done. Kept me up to date with the time he would arrive. Halfords had previously tested my battery and said it was fine. But I continued to have days where the car wouldn't start. James took one look at the battery and knew it was no good. New battery supplied and fitted.
