​I am writing this to warn others about the dishonest and aggressive tactics used by this mechanic. I booked an MOT and service through ClickMechanic, expecting a professional service. Instead, I met someone who was clearly looking for an easy way to collect fees without doing any actual work.
​Upon arrival, he immediately started discouraging me from proceeding. He claimed the car wouldn't pass the MOT and then said he couldn't perform the repairs anyway. Even when I explicitly stated I was willing to pay for any required parts and labor, he refused, repeatedly pressured me to cancel ("Sorry, love, I can't do that"), and insisted it was "better" for me to cancel the appointment.
​He looked me in the eye and assured me he would handle the cancellation so I wouldn't be charged. This was a blatant lie. He manipulated me into cancelling just so he could pocket a £40 cancellation fee without touching a single tool. It is a disgusting "business model": show up, find an excuse not to work, trick the customer into cancelling, and collect the fee for a "call-out" he sabotaged himself.
​To make matters worse, as soon as I reported that he was the one who initiated the cancellation, he had the audacity to call me on my personal phone and start screaming at me. This is beyond unprofessional; it is intimidating and harassment.
​If you value your money and your peace of mind, do not book this person. He is not a mechanic; he is a specialist in manipulation and aggression. ClickMechanic needs to remove him from their platform immediately for the safety and protection of other customers. Read more
