I booked a full service through ClickMechanic with an arrival window of 11am–1pm, but the mechanic didn’t arrive on time and gave no update. I had to call him myself, and he eventually arrived over an hour late after saying he’d forgotten to keep me informed.
During the service it became clear he wasn’t aware of the ClickMechanic point maintenance checklist until I raised it and contacted his manager. He also didn’t bring an air filter, which is part of a full service, and said he would have to come back another time. As I wasn’t available, the part was refunded.
Overall the experience felt disorganised and unprofessional due to poor communication, arriving late, and not being properly prepared.
I wouldn’t recommend this mechanic based on my experience.

• The incorrect air filter was supplied by our parts provider, not by our technician.
• During the appointment, you and several family members surrounded my technician, which made him feel uncomfortable and nervous.
• After discussing the issue with you over the phone, we mutually agreed to issue a refund, which was processed immediately.
We always aim to provide a professional and respectful service, and we appreciate the opportunity to clarify what happened.

My engine management system told me I needed to change the oil but no local garages could fit me in before a long trip I was making. I found click mechanic on line and gave them a try. I got a slot then following day and by the time I got back from a tennis game the job was done and the mechanic, sorry I didn't get his name, was finished and cleaning iup. It's a great service and my 500 mile trip went without a hitch.
