Yasar turned up on time. Polite and friendly. Replaced my battery and explained a bit about why the old one died, so I can avoid in future! Talked thru guarantee process on the new one.

I booked an MOT for £98
They collected my car at 11:50
They texted me at 17:15 telling me that the MOT failed and quoted £287 to fix it which I accepted
At 20:05 I asked for an update and was told that the car would be ready by 2pm the next day
I had to spend over £120 on taxis for my family on Friday night and Saturday morning

At 15:20 the next day my car came back and the driver even managed to wheelspin in my driveway and dig a 3 inch hole in my driveway

I asked them to check the windscreen screenwash system and they said they did but now it doesnt work at all. Previously, the screenwash for the lights was working ok

I have no idea if they actually did the work that I paid for

And to top it all off, I filled my tank before giving them the car and it was returned with 3/4 tank.
I didn't realise they were over an hour away

Thank you for your feedback. We take all customer concerns seriously and would like to clarify a number of points raised.

When your vehicle arrived, the screenwash system was not functioning correctly. We carried out checks and work on this free of charge to ensure the vehicle could proceed through its MOT, as a working screenwash system is a legal requirement for a pass. This was done as part of our commitment to helping customers avoid unnecessary failures. And this took additional time.

Regarding location, when your booking was confirmed and the job assigned, it clearly stated that the work would be carried out at our Slough site.
This is standard for our collection and delivery service.

In terms of timing, your vehicle arrived with us at approximately 1:00pm. We operate designated MOT time slots and manage a high volume of vehicles each day, so while we always aim to complete work promptly, timing can vary—particularly where additional repairs are required such as us checking your screen wash even though it wasn’t a part of your booking following an MOT failure. These repairs were quoted to you and only carried out after your approval.

All authorised work was completed by qualified technicians, and we keep full records of all work undertaken. We would be more than happy to go through this with you in detail for your reassurance.

I initially paid £180.23 for an MOT and a full service, during which there were some MOT failures that needed to be repaired. I told them to go ahead and paid a further £587.36. They kept the car overnight and it was returned the following day. Over the next 5 days, there was a burning smell, loss of power. a grinding in the wheels when turning right and the check engine light came on. I contacted the garage and explained these problems with the car. They agreed that they would come back and take the car and check it over free of charge. I was worried that the car would not make the journey back to their garage due to the way that the car was driving. I then took my car to a local garage who informed me that he didn't believe that they had carried out some of the work that they had charged me for. He then proceeded to straighten the brake plate as it was grinding against the wheel and observed that even in a very basic service, the oil should have been drained and refilled and it wasn't. I then had to pay my local garage £355 to put the car right. I asked Yasar to email me an invoice for the work that they carried out and I am still waiting for it to date, 2 months later. I was a little suspicious as the payment request from Yasar was attributed to a company called SnapMechanic and not MM Autos, which was the garage I was told were doing the repairs. The only SnapMechanic reference I found when Googling SnapMechanic were a company that had been dissolved in December 2025. I was so pleased to find him. I did not know a service like this exsisted my car was picked up and bought back to me the communication on what was being done and would need doing was clear and explained cant fault this sevice at all would reccomend to anyone thank you so much.

Very friendly and helpful but I was told that within the price my car would have a valet and this was not done. When I asked the man who delivered the car back to me he said he doesn’t know anything about it

My vehicle after your mechanic returned it to me, upon inspection, I discovered that two front left wheel bolts were missing.

This is an extremely dangerous oversight that could have caused a major accident. I trusted your service to return my car in a safe and roadworthy condition (Specially just right after MOT!!!) and this failure falls far below any acceptable standard of workmanship or safety. That was so weird that they send my car to MOT, how come the wheels bolts could be missing?! Means they take it off after the MOT or something else that might beyond professional practice?!! Anyway, although they sent someone fixed it after my complaint, this is absolutely not acceptable!.

I found Yasar mechanic a one to be avoided. Greedy, manipulative and deceptive. As a result this year simple MOT cost me huge money, and after that the car immediately needs to be repaired for a number of new problems due to undone, poorly done or just alleged works.

The vehicle in question is an older Volvo S80 that was presented to us in a generally worn condition, which is not uncommon given its age and mileage. Prior to carrying out any work, we assessed the vehicle and completed the requested MOT and associated repairs at a discounted rate as a gesture of goodwill.
It is important to clarify that an MOT is a snapshot of the vehicle’s condition at the time of inspection and does not prevent future issues from arising—particularly on older vehicles where multiple components may already be worn.
Any work carried out was completed to the required standard, and no repairs were undertaken without agreement.
We strongly refute any suggestion of dishonesty or poor workmanship. Our aim is always to provide fair, transparent, and professional service to all customers.

Yasar did a good job doing my MOT and service. I needed a new tyre and he offered a fair price. Will definately use them again.
