Jaguar E-PACE Brake discs and pads replacement - rear (both)

Ben performed a rear brake pad and disc replacement on my Jaguar E-Pace. On the day he was punctual, polite and cracked on with the work.
Unfortunately two days later I had a message on the dash telling me the pads were low. I contacted Ben and he told me it’s likely to be the cheap sensors that he fitted and he’ll order me some more. I didn’t hear from him for a while so have him a nudge. He called me to give some reassurance then I didn’t hear from him again for ages. In the end I raised a case against him (he was pretty prompt to reply then). Thing is now there’s bad blood I don’t want him to work on my car anymore.
Plus he also said it may not be the sensor it could be the software makes me doubt his competence.
He also charged an additional £79 to free a brake calliper which took him about 10 minutes. A new calliper is £99 which had I known he was going to charge me so much I would have just had the new one!
So no I’m not happy with Ben (aka bookamechaniconline.co.uk), I would not recommend him and will not use him again.
