I'm a difficult person to impress, I was impressed with the price and even more impressed with the way the job was carried out. The two guys turned up in the rain and darkness with a smile on their faces and carried out the work as an effective team. If changing brake pad was included in the Guinness Book of Records they surely would have got a entry. Thank you.

Positives: our clutch was replaced and it works fine; the job was done well. In addition, Shamshad noted that the front brake pads need replacing and was able to carry out this job, too. Negatives: Shamshad promised to get the job done in one day, but due to some problems with suppliers the correct car parts were not ordered on time. Consequently, our car was only returned to us on the following day. Fortunately, a courtesy replacement car was provided, meaning that the inconvenience was minimal. The car also needed some other minor work done; I asked Shamshad 5 days in advance by text message whether he could do it and received a "yes". However on the day of the main repair, it transpired that he was not able to obtain the necessary car parts in time. I appreciate that perhaps in these times getting hold of car parts is more difficult than used to be the case, and also that all times Shamshad was trying to be helpful, but in this case it would have been better if he was able to be more upfront about what he can and cannot do (i.e. keep your promises). When the job was done, there was also a mix-up with charging to my card: had I not been alert it would have meant I would have been an extra £75 out of pocket. In summary: Shamshad is a good and caring mechanic. There is some room for improvement in terms of following through with the promises he makes to clients.

My original quote was for £184.89, the final bill was £724.89, this was a terrible shock, and beyond my ability to have any real view as to the value for money of the increase, hence my one star for quality, as i have no idea. The difference in price was because the rear shock absorbers needed replacing (according to the mechanic), for which they charged me £540.00, seems a huge amount, They didn't even valet the car!!

The Mechanic was friendly and an expert. The inspection was good. I just need to know when click mechanic will provide the front brake discs, because I have a 12 month guarantee on the brake discs, and how much it will cost to replace a faulty wheel speed sensor?
