I had a diagnostic, the mechanic was friendly and on time. My car had overheated and needed a new thermostat. I made it clear beforehand that I did not want the car to be removed from the drive as the mechanic's base was too far away. The service does not let you choose who comes, which is an issue. The mechanic agreed it was the thermostat, but actually kept pointing to the wrong area of the engine. He clearly did not know where the thermostat was on a corsa. He never sent a followup quote even though I asked for one and had said he had done so. His main aim seemed to getting the car back to his garage. Changing a thermostat is 3 bolts and can be done on the drive, I did so myself later and the car is now fine.
