Mechanic arrived within two hours of me logging the problem and was pleasant enough. They also gave me a call when they were 15 minutes away, which was appreciated.
Report was rather basic and the diagnosis was not specific (the mechanic narrowed it down to one of two things), but presumably this is all that's needed to take this forward.
We did not receive a quote for fixing the problem. This is a shame as it was something we were expecting when we used ClickMechanic. We feel somewhat back to square one now, as any garage we take this to is going to want to do their own diagnosis.

Hi thank your for your review, The diagnostic taken place pointed the problem to either Spark Plugs or Coil Pack, i cannot test what one it is due to the coil pack fitted to your vehicle is not interchangeable with each cylinder, the best way is to always go for the cheapest option first and if that does not work then proceed with the next possibility.
Normally i would have just swapped a Coil Pack with a different one and see if that makes a difference however on your particular vehicle the coil pack is 1 complete unit and therefore cannot alternate them to find what the cause of the issue is.
Due to there being multiple misfires on multiple cylinders i said it is more then likely to be coil pack because it’s unlikely that all spark plugs are going to fail at once.

Renault Clio Car Won't Start Inspection

I am not sure what to write as what was diagnosed was different from what was fixed . I was advised its was ECU fault and that would cost me around 500£. How ever was was replaced was a sensor .l would rather say l was disappointed I did get some good advice on a different matter and l have used it to my benefit so l would say thank you for that .

Aron and his young colleague Alfie were superb, very friendly, highly skilled and professional. They didn’t baffle me jargon and explained the issues with car to me in layman’s terms which was highly appreciated. The work they carried out was excellent and top quality.
