I didn’t find out the young chap’s name who came to diagnose the issue with my dead car, it wasn’t who I was told was coming out though.
However he was very pleasant, and seemed to do an efficient job at diagnosing the problem - electrical/fuse box - explaining what he was doing and what needed to be done going forward. I have that now organised with my local garage.

He did the jobs requested and communicated well for one bit that couldn’t be done. However when I questioned something he was quite abrupt with his response so this wasn’t resolved satisfactorily.
