Darren was nice and friendly, but I'm not really happy about how things turned out. My car had an issue with misfiring and had been through quite a few mechanics, and for my diagnostic I was hoping for much more than I got, which was plugging it into a reader, saying it was the camshaft sensors, and that was it. I had to remind him that the rocker gasket was leaking, so he took a look and added it to the quote, which was, in my opinion, insane. £395 for the rocker gasket, spark plugs, and sensors (quoted £168 for two £15 sensors and the filling, which is literally a 2 minute job). I took it elsewhere and got all of the above plus an oil (+filter) change and coolant flush for less. To top it all off, it didn't fix the issue. Total waste of £54. Read more

I was there to do a engine diagnostic scanner inspection and that’s what I did and diagnosed the correct fault with the vehicle. The vehicle wasn’t booked in for a oil leak inspection but I took the time to have a look free of charge.
In regards of the quote I told you I was using all Genuine Main Dealership parts yes there is cheaper options to purchase main dealer part are better quality plus longer guarantees.
I’m extremely sorry you wasn’t happy with the outcome.

2nd time I have had Darren and his guys work on my car, good honest advice on parts and even saved me money on a job that a previous garage said needed doing, Darren managed a repair rather than a new part at over £120 saving, 1st time was over a bank holiday and I needed a part that not even a Alfa main dealer could source. He rang and mept me up to date of state of delivery and ETA as he knew I worked away and needed car, exellent service, take his advice and don’t hesitate to use him and his team.
