Nightmare scenario. Clutch went on my wife’s car early Friday evening on Bank Holiday. Need the car repaired ASAP. Looked around and saw that Automatic Motors Ltd through ClickMechanic could carry out the work the next day! There’s always some caution when using a new service or garage, but needn’t have worried. Automatic Motors Ltd collected the car when promised, completed the work and returned the car the same day. They advised that the clutch cylinder needed replacing too before carrying out the work. Really impressed, and thankful, with the speed of service and courteous manner in which Automatic Motors Ltd dealt with the work and got my wife’s car repaired. Great job. Mechanic was friendly and arrived at designated time. Problem though - had an email to say I needed a new brake light that would be £86 for the bulb & fitting!!! Could I reply & confirm the extra payment. I replied & said no leave it as I am not authorising payment as I feel this is too excessive & I will go to Halfords & get it done. I was told that the bulb had already been replaced & the car had now passed the MOT. I said I had not authorised payment & so would not be paying. That was no problem as such as I was told it was “click mechanic’s” fault.
However, I got the car back ……….. & the brake light still does not work!!!!!! So either they never changed the bulb (even though it got through the MOT) OR they did change it, put it through the MOT & then removed the new bulb & or replaced the old one as I said I was not paying £86 to have a £4 bulb replaced!!!! Not happy & I would advise customers to be weary of such antics. ( and I gave him £15 cash on return of the car for supposedly replacing the bulb)

Everyone I dealt with on the phone and in person were very professional and helpful. They were very informative about possible work to be carried out but did not pressure me into having that work done. Unlike some garages.

Yes brilliant service picked the van up took it to his garage and brought it back promptly definitely recommend and use again !!

I would avoid Automatic Motors Ltd if you value your vehicle . Recently I have made the mistake to book a timing chain replace on my BMW X5 F15 with them and the vehicle was returned with an oil leak and engine management light on which I am now trying to resolve with BMW . Raz the owner of this so called garaged got the vehicle back twice promising that all faults will be sorted .Claiming that problems have been resolved without actually fixing these problems show the questionable standards of this garage as the following day the oil same leak and error is still there.

Mechanic was very friendly and did absolutely the job asked. Our car ended up having to be kept overnight in their garage, but there was no extra hidden cost and car was delivered back the following evening.
